Yesterday’s Hitter Award goes to Chicago Cubs rookie second baseman Javier Baez who went 3 for 4 last night with 2 Hr’s driving in 4 in the Cubs 6-2 win over the Rockies. Baez has only played in 3 games for the Cubs, making his debut on Tuesday, but has already hit 3 bombs and driven in 5. I’d say he is off to a pretty good start.
