Yesterday’s Hitter Award goes to Cincinnati Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco. Mesoraco went 2 for 4 yesterday, with 2 homeruns and a career high 6 RBI’s. His Grand Slam in the 5th inning broke the game open for the Reds, who went on to beat the Marlins 7-2. Mesoraco leads all major league catchers in HR’s this year with 20 and he has already hit 3 grand slams this year! Way to go Devin!
